Please hang in there as I learn the ins and outs of using this blog. I will also publish information, tricks and tips as I can.  I have information on translating old documents, using the Mormon Church (LDS) resources, writing to different states for information, writing to different countries for information.  One of the first things I hope to put out here is a searchable Pennsylvania Death index.  The old way on the state's vital statistics page is just brutal to get through.

This is new for me.  I have been doing genealogy for twenty five years, give or take. I find it addictive, frustrating, and very rewarding. It is hard work. I get frustrated by how little information is out there easily - though I admit it is ten thousand times better now than it was twenty some years ago.  I am creating this blog not only to document my experiences but also for family to utilize, for other researches to maybe find useful tools, and other stuff like that.  I don't know how to blog. I don't even write well. but I hope you stick with me anyway and enjoy.
